LIFE IS UNPREDICTABLE, PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE REAL WORLD
The Evolution Athletics Performance Program is our pinnacle program. It is your launching point for elite athletic development. Our comprehensive program starts with a thorough individualized evaluation and movement analysis to develop a plan specific to your needs, goals, and history. From there we can truly focus on maximizing neuroendocrine response, developing speed or power, cross-training with multiple training modalities, sustained training life, practice with functional movements, and the development of successful diet, recovery, and mindset strategies.
This program is based upon the same strategies and techniques used by professional athletes of all types. Our system is heavily influenced by the methodologies of Team Exos (formerly Athlete’s Performance) where the Evolution Athletics owners and coaches have either trained or mentored. Some of them were in this program for over 5 years with access to the highest levels of Human Performance Optimization that very few rarely get to experience.
The foundation of this program is built upon first developing mobility, stability, and efficient movement regardless of sport or long term goals. Our staff of coaches and therapists aim to develop performance while simultaneously reducing injury potential in a systematic and sustainable manner.
Our Performance program combines the best practices, personnel, systems, equipment, facilities, fueling, support, and regeneration to the human element of the training cycle. The Evolution Athletics Program supports this approach seamlessly and effectively to help you dominate the demands of your sport.
Optimized Physical Competence
EAX Performance Athletes receive individualized programs designed to optimize physical competence in each of the ten generally recognized physical skills which are cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. Our systems based approach is backed by sport science and validated everyday by our athletes.
Do I have to be fit?
No. This is the program that will get you in shape. No matter what your current fitness level is, you can start here. As you become fitter, workouts will become more challenging. Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve fitness and move you toward your goals.
This program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.
What kind of movements/exercises can I expect?
Programming will include a strength portion in which you’ll work on something like Olympic weightlifting, deadlifting, squatting or bodyweight strength or you may work on a skill like handstand push-ups. After the strength or skill portion of the class is complete, most days will involve a WOD (Workout Of The Day). WODS can be anywhere between 5 to 20 minutes or more.
Is this program for me?
Yes. Everyone can participate regardless of age, injuries and current fitness levels. The program is modified for each person to help him or her safely become healthier and fitter. Grandparents and Olympians can perform modified versions of the same general workout.
What kind of results can I expect?
Be patient. Results take time but if you’re consistent, they absolutely will come. The exciting thing as a beginner is that results come fairly quickly, even in 30 days you can really see a difference in your strength and overall fitness.
Do I have to stop eating donuts?
Do enjoy special indulgences and meals. It’s a lifestyle, but it has to be manageable and realistic for the long-term. Luckily, the healthier you eat, the healthier you tend to want to eat. You get hooked on feeling good and junk food just isn’t worth it.
By avoiding excessive amounts of refined carbohydrates and measuring your intake of protein, carbohydrates and fat, you will see dramatic, measurable increases in health.
Can I get hurt?
This program uses safe, effective and efficient movements similar to those you use every day in life.
How often should I come?
2-4 classes a week is a realistic for beginners, depending on your level of fitness when you start. It may take a while for your body to get used to training at that intensity, so at the beginning you might need more recovery time between training days. Over the first few months, start working your way up to training 5 days a week.
"Love this gym. Very supportive people and great coaches. Hands down my favorite part of my day suffering through the workouts with everyone and getting pushed to get better everyday."
"The coaching staff and community both drastically changed my perception about CrossFit. Everyone there is extremely supportive and the atmosphere is very encouraging. The coaches do a great job scaling workouts and recognize that everyone has different capability levels. I would definitely recommend it to everyone."
"The gym is incredible, and Chris is extremely helpful! Highly recommend for athletes looking to take their fitness to new heights!"
